Ten Thought Tuesday

1. You guys, we have had seven showings in four days!!!  Eeeeeek!  Sell, home, sell!  Plus we have found several houses that recently came on the market that we'd like to look at if we can get an offer.  Fingers and toes are triple crossed now!!!  P.S. I know I'm going a little crazy with the exclamation points ... can you tell I want to hurry up and sell?  ;)

2. We are going on vacation for almost the whole month of July, so I will be getting 95% of G's party ready this month.  He's doing a joint party with one of his girlfriends this year at the Little Gym.  I love that we are doing it this way, but I just have to keep myself in check and make sure that I don't take it over completely since I love to plan these things.  I want the other mama to feel like it's her party too.

Less stress (my favorite) and less money (R's favorite), but I still want to make it look cute of course!  Since we decided on a sock monkey theme, I've been perusing etsy, pinterest, and other blogs for ideas.  I googled sock monkey images last night and came across some interesting finds...

And now you're day is complete, right?  You're welcome.  ;)

3. We have been playing in the water every.single.day due to it being hot as ____ (you fill in the blank with your favorite adjective) and G gleefully had his very first popsicle last week.

He knows where they are and often goes to the freezer now and tugs at the door.  Awesome.  He has improved his holding technique sine the first time, btw.  His school is having splash days every Friday the next couple of months where they play in the water and have popsicles.  I pity his sweet teachers for having to change ten toddlers into swimsuits and apply sunscreen!

4. We have gone on family runs four times since last Wednesday, and oh man am I out of shape!  It doesn't seem like that long ago when I easily ran seven miles non-stop, and now I am struggling in this heat to run three.  Must.keep.running.

5. After reading the Fifty Shades series, I saw several bloggers recommend the Divergent books by Veronica Roth.  They are a cross between The Hunger Games and The Giver (anyone remember this book??? Bueller? Bueller?) and were very easy, entertaining reads.  Only two of the three books are out right now, so if it doesn't bother you to wait on the third one, check them out.  I actually liked them better than Fifty Shades myself.

6. What is up with my Spurs?!?

7. My sister is getting married on August 4th and I am her maid of honor.  I've also been using etsy, pinterest, and google recently to help plan her bachelorette party.  So fun!  Did you guys see the most awesome proposal ever that's been floating around the internet?  I'll admit - I get teary eyed every time I watch it!

8. Why does it take forever for a baby's tooth to finally come in?!?  G's lower canines are taking their sweet time to break the surface, producing copious amounts of drool and a slightly cantankerous toddler.  After these puppies (get it?  hehe), we'll just have to worry about the second year molars!  Joy.

9. We were wild and crazy last Friday night.  After putting G to bed, we flipped between the basketball game and the National Middle School History Bee on the History Channel.  Crazy, I tell you! ;)

10. Is it too early for a cocktail or a glass of wine?? Happy Tuesday!
