... commonly known as "Throwback Thursday" on twitter or instagram.
These pictures are from March 2011 - my, how time flies! Such a cheesy saying, but oh so true.

Bigger backpap
This past weekend, the weather was continuing to be glorious so we opted for a morning "hike" in the neighborhood. There is something about getting out in the fresh air and sun that is bound to make even the grumpiest person a little more cheerful.
R is determined to make a camper/outdoors lover out of G and was beyond excited when a sweet friend gave us their Kelti carrier before G was born. We have used it on a few occasions and G had been so-so about it. Until now.
He is obsessed with the "bigger backpap" and wants to sit in it on every.single.walk. Of course R is thrilled and his dreams about family trips to Yellowstone and Yosemite don't seem as far off as they once were.

All good things
Life lately has been busy, but a good busy. We have spent lots of time with my family and the weather has been gorgeous.
The best thing about compiling an "All good things" list is that it will inevitably change depending on the day, week, or season of your life.
****
All good things...
Meeting friends for lunch, getting a new remote and catching up on my shows, planting flowers, macaroni and cheese...
warm spring days that call for popsicles on the porch...
date nights which involve good food and lots of laughter, uninterrupted bubble baths (I think all moms can appreciate those!), rocking my {big} little boy to sleep, lazy mornings, and, my personal favorite, saying yes...
Things that did not make the cut - missing my mani/pedi to stay at home with my sick boy and catching his puke in my hands. Poor baby. Life is not always rainbows and unicorns, but I am still one lucky mama!

| He woke up wanting to make muffins. I didn't have to rush off to work, so we did just that. I did, however, say no when he decided to throw in half an orange that wasn't included in the recipe. :) |

C is for Cookie
The other night G cried out in his sleep a couple of times, "My cookies!" The next day while running errands, I saw these gems that I had been eyeing for his Easter basket. I decided to get them early for him since he obviously has a thing for cookies.
To say that he loves them is an understatement.
We put them in the oven, we counted them, we took them all of and put one on each plate. He insisted on sleeping with them that night. Then he wanted them to ride in the car with him in the morning on the way to school.
Another Melissa & Doug product for the win!
