The evolution of a backyard

Once upon a time, we had an ugly backyard.  And when I say ugly, I mean reaaaaaaaally ugly.  For reals.

Then we decided to get serious about a landscaping makeover.  So we put in a new fence and moved it farther back...

And, more importantly, put in new sod!

With the proper TLC, our ugly backyard has been transformed into something beautiful.

The house we have a pending contract on (fingers crossed!!!) has a beautiful backyard.  The backyard sealed the deal for me!  I have always wanted a covered porch to sit under (ummmm... hello, 104 today, say what?!?) and a big backyard for my kids (future tense) to play in.

This mama is hoping her dream comes true!
