Pumpkin patch, check!

Up until today, I was 0-2 for taking pics at the pumpkin patch.  Both times we attempted to go, it started raining on the way there.  I couldn't complain because we need the rain and we were running errands anyway, so it's not like it was my sole ambition for the day.

This morning, I felt like it was going to be a success.  The sun was shining and the temps were cool enough for G to wear his only Halloween-ish shirt and jeans.  Note to self: it is hard to dress your kid in cute fall clothes for pumpkin patch pictures when it's still ninety+ degrees outside.  Maybe next year I'll have a short-sleeved shirt handy that fits the bill.  I know, I know... complete first world problem.

We went to a popular church pumpkin patch to snap some pics.  They weren't officially open for the day, so I quickly took my pictures and let G touch a few pumpkins before we hustled out of there.  Rebel, I know!  ;)  There was this one man from the church keeping a close eye on us, don't worry.  Since they weren't open for biz, we didn't buy any pumpkins, but I did accomplish my main task.

And just to compare to last year's pumpkin patch rendezvous...
