Can't we all just get along?

In less than thirty days, we will know the outcome of the presidential election.  I joked with R the other night that I didn't realize I had so many Republican "friends" (put in quotes because I haven't seen most of these people since high school) on Facebook.

Regardless of whether you are voting for Obama, Romney, or neither of the above, sometimes I want to shout out, "Can't we all just get along?"  I have actually unsubscribed from two people's FB news feeds because their constant political chatter was getting on my nerves.  For the record, one of them is Democrat and the other Republican, but I can't stand the "in your face" non-stop political posting.

I am passionate about my beliefs but do not feel the need to impose them on everyone else all.the.time.

I am grateful to live in a country where we can express our views freely without fear of persecution {for the most part, as unfortunately there are always exceptions}, and where we can simply click "unsubscribe" if we so choose.

And finally, if you feel so inclined, check out this article that is so perfectly written.
