Thoughts from this weekend

I am so ready for Tuesday night when we will know the outcome of the election and social media can start chilling out.

A Halloween party the weekend after Halloween is still fun - especially when you throw together your costume last minute with your sister!

Replacement refs

We took G on his first official hike on Saturday morning.  He loved the backpack but was also excited to explore the rocks and dirt like a typical little boy.  Then he pooped and the diapers and wipes were back in the car, so our excursion was short lived but fun nonetheless.

Mickey had to come along too, of course!

The Longhorns surprised me with a win over a ranked opponent!  The Cowboys, however, did not surprise me.

Daylight savings is no bueno when you have to get up with your kids who don't understand the concept.  Daylight savings is okay when you have an awesome baby daddy who will let you stay in bed and snooze.

I've had a hankering (I am Texan after all) for the Beefy Texan roll after my first rendezvous there and went back for a second time.  It did not disappoint ... neither did the Dy-no-mite roll.  Yumm-o. 

A certain little boy is still obsessed with his "tandy" (candy) and loves carrying his Elmo bucket around with him everywhere.
