The countdown has begun...

Two weeks until I leave for South Africa! It feels like this trip has been in the making for longer than it actually has been. Maybe it is the just the anticipation of it all. One of the girls from the group sent us this quote recently,

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."
-Neale Donald Walsch

In the last two weeks, I have received 8 shots - some that were recommended for the trip, some that I needed in preparation for volunteering at the hospital, and some just because. If you know me, you know that I HATE shots. Detest them. So my arm has felt like a pincushion but I did survive them and am happy that I am up-to-date on all of my vaccinations.

I seriously cannot wait to see how these seven short days will impact my life forever.
